In our team we have our manager, Jackie, working alongside Stacey and Wendy. All of the team have now passed the ChamberCustoms exam and have been with the Chamber for a combined total of over 50 years, so no matter where you are in your international trade journey, we have the expert support and critical training you need to grow your overseas presence.

What’s your favourite part of your job?

The nice customers who appreciate the hard work we do.

What’s the biggest misconception people have about customs clearance?

That it is easy and quick to process, and that we make the decisions for them.

What advice would you give a business that is considering exporting overseas?

To be prepared, don’t leave things to the last minute.

What do you enjoy when you’re not working?

Stacey is getting ready to welcome her first child in January, whilst renovating her new house. Jackie keeps busy baking fresh bread and cakes on the weekends. Wendy enjoys walking, camping, and spending time with family, friends and her 3 cats.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Keep organised, it’s a fast paced job so if you are organised it makes it a lot easier to be on top of what is coming in.
